Dr. Pam Nichols, DVM

Dr. Pam Nichols earned her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1996. She opened the Animal Care Center (West Bountiful, UT) in 1999; she is the owner and medical director. In 2002 she opened the K-9 Rehab Center and became one of the first veterinarians to become certified in Canine Rehabilitation. Dr. Pam Nichols was just appointed to the board of directors of The American Animal Hospital Association. In 2015, for the 16th year in a row, the Animal Care Center was awarded the highest level of accreditation by AAHA. Dr. Pam Nichols and The Animal Care Center won their first national award in 2002 with the award for Best Veterinary Hospital in the U.S. by Veterinary Economics magazine. Dr. Pam won the “Spirit of the American Woman” Business Woman of the Year award in 2004. She owns and operates two successful dog boarding and daycare facilities in Woods Cross, Utah and Salt Lake City, Utah. The Utah Dog Parks were among the very first non-traditional dog day care and boarding facilities in Utah; they are considered the gold standard in the industry! In 2015 Dr. Pam has become an adjunct professor at Washington State University; she assists senior students with learning the “Art and Business of Veterinary Practice”. Dr. Pam is passionate about pet care. She loves the connection that veterinarians share with their patients and the humans that love them!
