Following the review of nearly 200 nominations from animal lovers across the country, a blue-ribbon judging panel of veterinary professionals and animal care experts has selected 10 of the country’s top veterinarians and veterinary technicians as finalists. Now, the public will determine the 2017 American Hero Veterinarian and Hero Veterinary Technician!

Voters can vote once each day for their favorite veterinarian and veterinary technician until 12pm Pacific Time on July 27. The winners will be announced at the Hero Dog Awards gala in Beverly Hills this September!

Voters must be U.S. residents at least 18 years of age and may vote for one veterinarian and veterinary technician each day. Individuals may not use more than one email address to vote more than one time per day, per category. Invalid votes, as determined by American Humane, will not be counted.
